The Iowa/Hungary Percussion Project was founded in 2012 by Matthew Andreini (IA) and Gabor Palotas (HU) with a goal of fostering the creation and performance of new music for percussion.  Coming from contrasting and diverse backgrounds, the performing duo has made a mission of sharing original music from their homelands.  Since the project’s inception, the duo has collaborated with numerous Iowan and Hungarian composers and toured on both continents, exclusively performing from their commissioned repertoire.  To learn more, read about Our Story.
